Mobile to Edgemont

Directions: Exit 14, right on Capilano Rd, drive up until hit Ridgerock right down the road until see stores and Edgemont blvd.

What a great way to start the new year by being a mobile teller working at Edgemont Village today! It was a much smaller sized branch of around 3 tellers and was quite busy today. Working in a new environment it felt like my first day. Everything was so new and I had trouble finding things. Definitely had some trouble finding my groove. I noticed many differences at this branch. Account managers became tellers/account services, the CAO became a teller, the branch manager and Client Care Manager became the CAO. Quite interesting. The MCC at the branch Jennifer is really cool. Extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient as the branch is near a residential area.

Differences
-The computers seemed a bit older.
-The envelopes they used were different.
-1 cash dispenser instead of two. Dispenser doesn’t receive cash have to drop it down the chute. Saves time.
-Felt a little claustrophobic. As customers felt closer to me in distance.
-No need to list down bank drafts in binder.

Popular transactions- People who had trouble with their cards. Needing replacement cards.

One thing I agree with is at small branches you get to wear different hats and do and learn much more. While at a large branch you may not be encouraged or there may not be time to teach new things.
