Rough Day

It was a pretty rough day today with the way things were going. I had to deal with my first angry customer and it was an old lady. I basically had some trouble converting CAD into USD it was like $934.31 because she was receiving 31 cents we couldn’t give that out. I also misheard what denominations she wanted so it was taking me a while. The lady started getting upset at me saying, “Oh my God! what is taking so long!? This is ridiculous. Please have someone come and help you right away” I’m fuming inside but I just play it cool and just block her out. I ask my supervisor to come help me out and everything is all taken care of. I had a talk with a customer about TFSA deadline being Feb 29th and she said that there was no such deadline that it was for RRSP. I thought I was right so we kinda argued back and forth. Later, my manager came to me and told me the customer was right! AHHH! Oh dear, I was wrong and that is not good. I’ve been pretty much telling customers TFSA deadline was Feb 29th when actually it was for RRSP. Lesson learned, when your not sure about something ask and confirm the correct answer. After that I felt pretty discouraged about talking about TFSA. But I gradually got my confidence back.

People have been commenting on my hand and asking me what happened to my hand because I’ve been wearing a white glove on my right hand. I used to tell them I injured it from volleyball which is partially true but eventually I told people that I have eczema. People have been really understanding by far and have even gave me suggestions as drinking lemon juice with olive oil, or trying a certain cream. One really nice lady in the past gave me a moisturizer all the way from South Africa. That was cool.
